Sunshine!! anime will premiere on October 7 at 10:30 p.m. on Tokyo MX, Sun TV, and KBS Kyoto. It will air later the same evening on BS11 and TV Aichi, and the evening of October 10 on TV Hokkaido, SBS, and TVQ Kyushu Broadcasting. A television special will precede the debut of the first episode on September 30 on Tokyo MX, Sun TV, KBS Kyoto, and BS11. The special will also be livestreamed. The first Love Live! Osaka, Aichi weekend events planned to celebrate 2nd season anime's opening song single Lantis announced on Sunday that it cancelled the commemoration event for the Aqours group's "Mirai no Bokura wa Shitteru yo" single scheduled for the same day in Aichi prefecture due to the approaching Typhoon Saola (Quedan), and the possible subsequent shutdown of public transportation services. Lantis also warned about the same event in Osaka on Saturday, and other events scheduled for the same days in Sendai, Sapporo, and Hiroshima, but only the Sunday Aqours event was cancelled.
