Synopsis
Au XIème siècle avant Jésus-Christ, dans la Chine mythologique, Zhou, l'actuel empereur, a succombé au charme de la vénéneuse Daji, une démone qui affame le peuple. Mais les Immortels de Kunlun, exaspérés par cette situation, décident d'en finir une bonne fois pour toutes. Ils chargent Taigong-Wang, le plus jeune d'entre eux, d'une mission périlleuse : emprisonner les 365 sous-fifres de Daji pour affaiblir son pouvoir. Mais Taigong-Wang, dilettante et intelligent, a des raisons personnelles d'en vouloir à Daji. Il décide donc d'aller directement affronter la démone.

News New Hoshin Engi Anime Reveals January Premiere, 3 More Cast Members
Makoto Furukawa, Yūichi Nakamura, KENN join cast The official website for the new television anime adaptation of Ryu Fujisaki's Hoshin Engi manga revealed on Friday that the anime will premiere in January 2018. The site also revealed three more cast members for the series. The new cast members include: Makoto Furukawa as Nataku Yūichi Nakamura as Yōzen KENN as Kō Tenka The cast joins the previously revealed cast members: Kensho Ono as Taikōbō Tomoaki Maeno as Bunchū Takahiro Sakurai as Sūpūshan (Sibuxiang) All the voice actors are different from the previous anime series. Fujisaki's 23-volume manga originally ran in Weekly Shonen Jump from 1996-2000. The manga is roughly based on the ancient Chinese novel Fengshen Yanyi. The fantasy manga and the first anime adaptation takes place thousands of years ago. An evil sorceress has bewitched the emperor of a powerful dynasty and he has become a mindless puppet. Yoshimasa Hosoya, Nobunaga Shimazaki, Kousuke Toriumi cast in C-Station anime The staff for the new television anime of Ryu Fujisaki's Hoshin Engi manga revealed the main staff, additional cast members, the finalized series title Hakyū Hōshin Engi, a teaser video, the January 12 premiere date, and a new key visual on Wednesday. Masahiro Aizawa is directing at C-Station, and Natsuko Takahashi is in charge of the series scripts written by Yoshiki Ōkusa and Rintarou Ikeda. News Yukinobu Hoshino's Rainman Manga Ends in 7th Volume

Adaptation of Ryu Fujisaki's manga premieres on January 12 The official website for the new television anime of Ryu Fujisaki's Hoshin Engi manga revealed three more cast members on Wednesday. Yōko Hikasa will play Dakki, Daisuke Namikawa will play Chū Ō, and Nobuhiko Okamoto will play Ōtenkun.
