How to Set a Ringtone on Your Android Phone

On top of the Samsung Music app, you can use the Music Player app to customize your ringtones. The app features a ringtone generator that lets you customize ringtones on the fly, and you can also assign them to contacts. Additionally, you can download a ringtone from your computer. It might seem like an unnecessary step, but the ability to set up custom ringtones will make your life easier.

The Samsung galaxy's main settings menu contains a list of available klingeltöne. To find the ringtone you want, you can either search for it, or simply scroll down to it. Depending on your device, you may have to press Allow to enable it. Once you've found it, you can then select it and click the ringtone button.

Another option is to use the built-in Contacts application. There, you can add and set ringtones for individual contacts, or you can create your own custom ringtones. One nice feature of the Contacts application is that you can use a ringtone for both your incoming and outgoing ringtones. Of course, you can also import a song from your computer and then use that as your ringtone.

One last thing to note: if you're not ready to make a change, you can always revert to the default ringtone. But if you're eager to try something new, you'll want to experiment with a few of these other options.
