DC Comics will continue to celebrate Free Comic Book Day by stirring up interest in its big events. As one of the celebration’s 2018 Gold Sponsors, the publisher teases “A special, top secret project too big to announce!” Initial details will be revealed in February, with the actual issue arriving Saturday, May 5, 2018.

Meanwhile, Marvel’s FCBD 2018 gold-level issue will present a pair of 10-page ‘game-changer’ stories for Avengers and Captain America.

Image Comics will debut Brian K. Vaughn and Marcos Martin’s latest series, Barrier, on FCBD, releasing the 53-page first issue. The remaining four issues will be published weekly throughout May. BOOM! Studios will promote its Mighty Morphin Power Rangers comics, while Dark Horse focuses on its Overwatch comics.
