News Voice Actress Romi Park Leaves Agency After 22 Years to Go Independent

Voice actress Romi Park announced on Twitter on Tuesday that she is leaving her agency Enkikaku after 22 years. She opened a new personal website titled LAL in order to work independently.

Park commented, "While I am nervous about being able to embark on a new journey at this age, I am excited." She also noted that she is happy to have this chance.

Park's many voice roles include Fullmetal Alchemist's Edward Elric, Naruto's Temari, Turn A Gundam's Loran Cehack, and Digimon Adventure 02's Ken. More recently, she has voiced Hanji in Attack on Titan, Ragyo Kiryuin in Kill la Kill, and Seimei in Garo: Crimson Moon. She won the best leading actress award for her performance of Nana Osaki in NANA at the first ever Seiyuu Awards in 2007.
