Saitō will continue as producer of console games

Spike Chunsoft producer Yūichirō Saitō revealed on Thursday that he had resigned from the company as of October 31. He wrote in his post that he will continue in a new field as a producer of console games.

Saitō is best known as the producer of the Danganronpa mystery game series. He also produced Spike Chunsoft's Conception and Mystery Chronicle: One Way Heroics games, as well as Exist Archive, the company's collaboration role-playing game with Tri-Ace.

Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony (New Danganronpa V3: Minna no Koroshiai Shin Gakki), the latest game in the Danganronpa series, shipped in Japan for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita on January 12, and shipped in the West in September.
