Simulation RPG slated for 2018

Bandai Namco Entertainment Asia announced on Tuesday that it will offer an English-subtitled release of the upcoming Full Metal Panic! Fight! Who Dares Wins (Full Metal Panic! Tatakau Who Dares Wins) PlayStation 4 game in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia and the Philippines.

The game is slated for 2018 in both Japan and Southeast Asia. B.B. Studio is developing the simulation RPG.

The Full Metal Panic! Invisible Victory television anime series will premiere in spring 2018. The anime's first season is getting a three-film director's cut version.

Full Metal Panic! centers around a mercenary group called Mithril on a parallel Earth in which the Cold War did not end in 1991. Sōsuke Sagara, a seventeen year old military specialist working for Mithril, has been assigned to go undercover to protect high school student Kaname Chidori.

The original Full Metal Panic! light novel series debuted in 1998, and Fujimi Shobo published the series' 12th and final novel in the main series in 2010. The novels have more than 11 million copies in print. Tokyopop published the first five volumes before the company shut down its North American branch in 2011.
