Known as a troublemaker to many, Yusuke randomly saved a little girl from an oncoming car and died in the process. 

His bravery and selflessness shocked many but his mother and childhood friend Keiko knew he was a good person. He comes back to life as a spirit detective, saves many lives and turns many enemies into close comrades.

You see Yusuke’s heart right away and eventually, especially after his heart is personified, you see what an adorably soft inside he has. 

Not to say he isn’t super cool, especially when he’s firing his spirit gun and slicing through evil doers, but knowing his harsh exterior has marshmallow insides makes you love him all the more!

7. Lelouch Vi Britannia from Code Geass

It can be argued that everything Lelouch did he did in his pursuit of making the world a better place for his sister, Nunnally. 

Most people watching their younger sibling become blind and crippled would certainly be motivated to do whatever it takes to purse that goal, and we certainly see Lelouch go to all kinds of lengths to do just that. 

Fortunately, Lelouch is able to keep his duties to the world separate from those as being a dutiful brother to Nunnally, showing us how he can generally be a good person despite the actions he takes.

6. Sesshoumaru from Inuyasha

Sesshoumaru seems to really hate his half brother Inuyasha, to the point of constantly fighting and trying to kill him, but you do see him eventually start to have moments of warmth towards his brother. 

Always masking it as not wanting anyone else to kill Inuyasha but himself, he comes to his brothers aid. This started happening around the time a little human girl named Rin came into his life.

Now, whether you are on the side of shipping Sesshoumaru/Older Rin or just Sesshoumaru being a father figure, you can all at least agree right now he’s a great older brother. 

Not only would he “beat up” (read: kill) anything that even dares touch you, he would be able to hear it from miles away. Also, he does seem to be able to acquire anything he needs so he’s got to have at least some money stowed away somewhere, right?

Without going into a 2 hours worth of flashbacks and spoilers, basically Itachi made a deal that his brother’s life would be spared at the cost of his own reputation.
