Korean developers optimize original 2002 game for PS VR Korean video game publisher Blueside announced that it will release the Gungrave VR "cinematic action shooting game" for PlayStation VR in Japan in 2017. Korean game developer Iggymob is developing the game. The developers will preserve the world of the original Gungrave games and go beyond the story of the second title, Gungrave: Overdose, to create an optimized version of the original game for PlayStation VR. The game will feature infinite shooting, third-person "full-break action," and first-person "dynamic shooting." A PC version for use with Oculus, Vive, and other VR headsets is also planned after the PlayStation 4 release for use with PlayStation VR. Illustrator Yasuhiro Nightow and composer Tsuneo Imahori are returning from the original Gungrave game to work on the game. Imahori is composing the theme song "Bara Armati" for the game. Who doesn’t love time travel and all the convoluted storytelling and intense moral questions that come with it? Despite being a firmly sci-fi/fantasy-esque device, time travel stories can span all kinds of genres- from psychological stories, to adventure stories, to historical dramas and mystery stories.  Let’s look at some of the time travel anime out there and the unique stories contained therein. The best part of anime is that it can enact completely wacked out ideas without having to worry about the suspension of disbelief or the ability of what real people can and can’t do. However, by using animation, you also allow the audience to experience a certain aesthetic that lacks in other types of media. While animators have to work in a budget, just sometimes they can create a show that is a work of art in itself and not just a device for serving up stories. If your interest lies in the ability of anime to create something uniquely beautiful, then you will want to check out these stylishly animated shows. What would you do if you could go back in time? Would you go back and kill Hitler, possibly altering the entire history of the world and giving Kouta Hirano no good villains for Hellsing? Would you keep things simple and just go back to just a few years ago and tell the Tokyo Ghoul directors that deviating from their source material is a poor decision? Would you zip back a few months and karate chop whoever in the industry thought that clunky CGI in Berserk 2017 looked good? Well, whatever you do, clearly you have a passion for your anime. So if you can’t actually go back in time, you can at least watch some series that show off the consequences of time travel. Of course, If you are looking for good time travel anime, Steins;Gate has been continuously shoved down your throat, causing it to overshadow all others. So it is being left off this list. Romance-action series centering on high school boy with superpowers launched in November 2015 This year's 18th issue of Shueisha's Young Gangan magazine revealed on Friday that Sakurako Gokurakuin's Brave Star ☆ Romantics manga will end in the magazine's next issue on September 15. The "romance-action story with shortcut superpowers" manga centers on Ayumu Takenami, the "Brave Star" who is one of the strongest of those with superpowers. He fights on the front lines every day, but rushes home to Japan to see the girl he likes. Gorakuin launched the series in November 2015, and Square Enix published the manga's second compiled volume (pictured at right) on March 25. Gokurakuin ended her Sekirei manga in August 2015. She began the series in 2004 and the series inspired two anime adaptations in 2008 and 2010. Funimation has released both anime in North America. Yen Press began releasing the Sekirei manga digitally in 2015, and began publishing the series in print in July.
