OVA to screen in theaters in Japan in early summer 2018 The official website for the new anime adaptation of Hiromi Takashima's Kase-san and Morning Glories (Asagao to Kase-san.) manga revealed on Monday that the anime will be an original video anime (OVA) and have limited theatrical screenings in Japan that will premiere in early summer 2018. Takashima drew a special illustration for the announcement. A five-minute animated clip of the manga debuted in May, and its official Twitter account revealed in August that the manga will get a new anime project in 2018. The clip's director Takuya Satō (Girls Beyond the Wasteland, Say, "I Love You".) and producer Yūsuke Terada will appear at a talk event at the Yamagata International Documentary Film Festival 2017 event at Yamagata Museum of Art on October 7. The manga follows a romance between "the clumsy, flower-adoring Yamada and the exuberant Kase-san, their school's track and field star." Seven Seas Entertainment is rele
