Screenings begin October 28 The official website for the Eureka Seven: Hi - Evolution film trilogy announced on Friday that the first film will get 4DX and MX4D screenings at 71 Japanese theaters starting on October 28. Those who attend the screenings will receive a strip of film like the sample pictured below. With the 4DX and MX4D systems, certain theaters have motion seats that move in sync with certain action sequences onscreen. Similarly, effects such as scents, wind, and mist will operate in accordance with the action onscreen. The first film opened on 107 screens in Japan on September 16, after making its worldwide debut at Otakon on August 12. In its first two days, it raised about 63 million yen (about US$561,137). The film will also open this fall in the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Australia, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Thailand.
