New series titled Dead Mount Death Play debuts in October This year's 18th issue of Square Enix's Young Gangan magazine revealed on Friday that writer Ryohgo Narita and illustrator Shinta Fujimoto are collaborating to launch a new manga series titled Dead Mount Death Play in the magazine's 21st issue on October 20. The new manga is an original work, but the magazine did not provide additional details about the story. Young Gangan posted a preview image of the manga (pictured at right) on Friday. Fujimoto (Red Raven) launched the adaptation of Narita and illustrator Katsumi Enami's Baccano! light novel series in Young Gangan in October 2015, and ended it on January 6. Square Enix published the manga's third and final compiled book volume on April 10. Yen Press licensed the manga and published the chapters digitally simultaneously with the Japanese release. New project is nearly 10 years in the making Geno Studio announced on Monday that it will produce an original television anime series by director Takahiro Ōmori (Baccano!, Durarara!! all seasons, Natsume's Book of Friends all seasons, Samurai Flamenco). The announcement noted that the project has been in planning for about 10 years. The above image reads, "Roughly 10 years in the making.
