News Little Witch Academia: Chamber Of Time Game's 2nd Promo Video Previews Animated Scenes
Game to add update for co-op play after launch

Bandai Namco Entertainment began streaming a second promotional video for its Little Witch Academia: Chamber Of Time game during a livestream on Sunday. The video previews the game's story and new animated scenes.

The staff also announced in the livestream that it will offer a post-launch update that will add online battle and both online and offline co-op play. In addition, the Grancharion robot will appear in the Super Robot Wars X-Ω smartphone game for a limited time in November.

The game will arrive in Japan on November 30 for the PS4. People who pre-order the game in Japan will receive a product code to download and play the special bonus PS4 game "Madō Senshi Guransharion" (Sorcerer Warrior Grancharion), inspired by a robot mecha that appears in episode 18 of the anime. The limited first pressing of the game in Japan will include an exclusive box illustrated by Trigger, a special contents Blu-ray Disc, a drama CD, an exclusive art book, and a game original Chariot Card.

Bandai Namco Entertainment America plans to release the role-playing game in early 2018. Bandai Namco Entertainment Europe's trailer lists a 2018 release window. The company describes the "3D action beat 'em up" game's original story:

Having been inspired by a famous witch named Shiny Chariot, an ordinary girl named Atsuko (Akko) Kagari enrolls at Luna Nova Magical Academy, a prestigious school for young girls training to become witches. Before starting summer vacation, Akko and her new classmates find out about an inexplicable phenomenon at Luna Nova caused by the Seven Wonders, which has been passed down for several centuries. Now it's up to Akko as she takes on the adventure to unravel the mystery surrounding the Seven Wonders.

Studio Trigger's Little Witch Academia television anime premiered on January 8 and concluded with 25 episodes on June 25. Netflix debuted the first 13 episodes outside Japan on June 30, and added episodes 14-25 in August.
