Justice League Movie Heroes Unite For DC’s November Variant Covers

DC Comics will publish a series of Justice League-themed variant covers in November, the same month director Zack Snyder’s film arrives in theaters.

The initiative was announced on Nerdist, which unveiled variants for Action Comics #991, illustrated by Yanick Paquette, and Superman #35, drawn by Renato Guedes, featuring the likenesses of Ben Affleck’s Batman, Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman and Jason Mamoa’s Aquaman. Presumably, additional covers will include the remaining heroes Superman, The Flash and Cyborg.

We might also see the film’s primary antagonist, Steppenwolf, make his way onto a variant cover. Action Comics #991 goes on sale Nov. 8, followed by Superman #35 on Nov. 15. Both of these dates fall just ahead of the Justice League premiere, but additional variant will be released throughout the month.
