1. One Piece planned to air only for 5 years

One piece was supposed to be finished in 2002 because it originally planned to air only for 5 years, but fortunately Oda changed his mind because he enjoyed writing the one piece manga and decided to continue and even today.

 

2. Zoro and Buggy crew

Zoro was originally supposed to be a member of Buggy crew.

3. The Real World Nationalities of One Piece Characters

Oda revealed the country of origin for each character in One Piece crews if they belonged to this real world.

4. Whitebeard pirate

Despite having no beard but only a mustache, Edward Newgate named whitebeard due to the absence of a set word in the Japanese language that means beard or mustache, there is only "Shige"  and means facial hair.
